Overview

How does Door Deals get all of our door hangers out to the homes in the Minneapolis area? A large part of our distribution is done by community organizations. We anticipate that our fundraising opportunity will put nearly $500,000 back into the community annually!

If you’re looking to raise funds for your team or organization, we can help. Our fundraising program is simple and allows organizations to raise money without jumping through a lot of hoops. Consider showing up for a morning or afternoon and walking away with a check for the work that was completed that day! All you have to do is meet our Door Deals team on a weekend morning or afternoon with a minimum of 12 distributors and 3 drivers. Then, use our pre-made maps to hang our first class marketing pieces along our designated routes. No knocking on doors, no soliciting. Simply walk our routes and help us serve the Door Deals area with completely free cost saving opportunities offered by our local businesses. It’s fun, VERY team oriented, and great exercise for all involved.

How it works

Typically, the group will break up into teams of 4 with one driver (usually a parent). Door Deals will give each team a distribution map along with a stack of door hangers corresponding to the number of homes on the provided map. The teams will hang their designated route(s) and report back … that’s it! When all the teams have completed their routes Door Deals will write a check to the organization. Door Deals pays the group on a per home basis. The more door hangers a group distributes, the more money the organization takes home. It’s that simple.

We encourage groups to do more than one fundraiser a year. After getting a feel for the process, groups tend to increase their rate of distribution and ultimately, increase the amount of money they raise for their respective organizations.
